Limerick based artist Sarah McGlone is in the transitional stage of her career. Her work has been experimental, as she develops and grow her skills as an artist. She has worked in several areas of photography; analogue, digital, video and performance. Her practise has been influenced after working with artists like Nigel Rolfe. At the moment her practise is focused on performance art and performance to camera. Themes and subjects of her work often stem from family and childhood as well as looking at time and how it changes objects/locations. Her work loosely has a common theme but she avoids focusing solely on topic for multiple projects, feeling she is too young and it's too early in her career to focus on just one area. The artist has been involved in several group exhibitions for example Sculpting in Time and Oscillations.
